Teaching Methods

In the Senior High School Affairs University of Northern Philippines for classroom teaching methods that I have observed and taught; the learner-centered,give the students to engage in learning the most, emphasize critical thinking rather than memorization,link the content to the daily life of students and using the activities in a variety of teaching to make the students enjoy learning.

Learning Materials and Innovation

Learning Materials and Innovation in this school are textbooks according to the curriculum of the school, and according to the content to be taught. The learning materials that prepared before teaching are whiteboard, chalk, eraser, and sometimes the teacher use a projector.

Source of learning and technology

Learning resources are textbooks and internet searches. For some subjects teacher give the students make videos or work about the content they learn and there are also supplementary worksheets for students.

Authentic Assessment

For the Authentic Assessment, teachers use quiz for each lesson and measured by worksheet, tasks, mid-test, and a final examination.

In class, teachers to observe the behavior of students and give the students show ideas and how to do them on the board.
